Maria Farrah Howell is the founder and president of the Farrah Consulting Group, Inc., a Boston-based public relations firm specializing in public relations and communications training.

An award-winning public relations professional, Ms. Farrah Howell has more than 20 years of experience in corporate and government communications.

Her innovative techniques used in creating media events and stories have been recognized by the Publicity Club of New England, which awarded her its "Bell Ringer Award".

Before founding her own company, Ms. Farrah Howell served for 10 years as an official in Massachusetts state government, where she designed and implemented a series of first-in-the-nation public relations programs to encourage safe automobile driving.

She was also tapped to manage the media for the Carter Commission, appointed by the Governor of Massachusetts to reform the Massachusetts Port Authority after the terrorist attacks of 9/11, and for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in connection with John F. Kennedy Jr.'s fatal plane crash off Martha's Vineyard.
